At six o'clock sharp, we were all in position and ready to glorify God. Our special guests were the Booker's family: Dr. Robert Booker, Pastor and Founder of Praise Centre COGIC, his wife, Evangelist Virginia Booker, and his youngest son, Prophet Booker who led the congregation in praise and worship. Accompanying musicians were Deacon Binns on the flute, Pastor Bowden on the cornet, Deacon Yarbrough on the drums, and Bishop Moore on the sax. We had a marvelous time magnifying the name of the Lord!
Following praise and worship and just prior to Dr. Booker ministering the Word of God, his lovely wife blessed the Lord with a song of praise. Afterwards, Dr. Booker ministered powerfully from the theme: Remember Where God Has Brought You From. The Word was well received and the people gathered at the alter for prayer and deliverance. Praises be to the Most High!
Prior to the benediction, Deacon Ernest Sealie, National Men Director, presented gifts to Brother Bulluck, Minister Lowe, and Dr. Booker for their unselfish devotion and support of our national conference. We would also like to thank all of our women and those of you who participated spiritually, physically and financially to make our conference a huge success. May the Lord continue to bless you richly! |
