Bishop Dr. Willie J. Moore, Presiding

By Sister Linda BinnsPraise the Lord, Saints!  Voices of Victory National Fellowship praised the Lord and enjoyed His goodness, as we gathered at Admiral Baker Park for the annual Fellowship picnic, on Saturday, June 7, 2008.  We shared hot dogs, hot links, burgers, chicken, many delicious side dishes and snacks, and were grateful for God's bounty.

There were games for kids of all ages, rest in the shade for those who desired it, and fun and fellowship for all.  We had a large number of attendees this year, including representatives from most of the fellowship churches.

Praise and Pastor Lundy from Circle of Faith relaxed and visited in the shade.  Pastor Thomas from Christ Community Center visited with all, and was spotted supervising the grill.

Sis. Moore and Sis. Yarbrough busied themselves getting all the side dishes set up for all to enjoy.

The weather for the picnic was perfect, just warm enough to keep everyone comfortable—we could not have asked for a better day.

The annual baseball game left the participants tired but happy as the kids helped the adults off the field back to the food.

We were all happy to see the Cook family; their numbers represented four generations.

Although they had a couple of fires in the grill, which were quickly extinguished, they did a great job and were highly appreciated.

Another special thanks to those who brought all the wonderful side dishes, snacks and drinks, which were appreciated and enjoyed by all.

We did indeed had a bounty!  Last, but not least, special thanks to Bishop Murphy for

planning and putting it all together and helping folks get to the picnic.

We look forward to our next annual picnic and a far greater fellowship with the people of God!

Hope to see you next year!
